This month we hosted two preview gatherings in preparation for our LAUNCH October 5th. I’ll be honest…they were amazing! The band sounded amazing-bringing solid worship, the liturgy was beautiful and I hear the preaching was good.

We are learning a great deal from these preview gatherings and hope that people will feel good about and compelled to invite others to LAUNCH!

As a side note we started our second gathering off fairly rough because Brad and I got cussed out (which is better than knifed like I thought was going to happen) right before the service started. A drunk man came in wanting cash and when I told him we can’t give cash to people, especially when they are drinking with it he flipped. Besides…we are poor church planters- we don’t have cash ourselves.

Ahh, the joys of urban life!
